Home of the famous La Boca football team this area was originally set up by Italian immigrants who established slaughterhouses and leather tanneries. Its now a slum area but has become a tourist attraction in parts. The corrigated iron houses are all very brightly painted and they sell paintings and souveniers to to the tourists. Its NOT a place you go to at night
