However like in years past the flowers had been rained out by the time he got here so he spent a cold day walking the sites of DC. Close by to us is a water fall in the Potomac so that was one of the trips. Luckily it was in good flow after the rains. Since then its been very cold so you will have to wait another week or so to see the dogwoods in full bloom
