Aoraki - Mt Cook

On the way back from Wanaka we came via Lake Pukaki and Mt Cook (Aoraki is the Maori name). Pukaki is amazingly blue. If you dont believe me go onto Google Maps and compare the colour with any lake in the world. From the end of the lake you can see Mt Cook (was 123459 ft until about 50ft was knocked off the top a few years ago). On the day we were there the view was spectacular. The bus loads of tourists didnt know how lucky they were as its not like that every day.
